I agree to an extent. Pro-life means that once life is created between two people, that life deserves the same respect as any living being. I, personally believe in educating youth on the biological realities of sexual activity and responsibility, which could simply mean, do not have sex until you’re married. As we can see, though, our society and culture promotes sexual promiscuity as cool and reasonable. And in this case, unfortunately, contraception and education are desperately needed and should be discussed and investigated within the family circle with love and understanding.

But, the reality is that a child is not a disease or cancer that the owner of the body can order to be destroyed; that is the problem. Someone has sex, knowing full well that a child could result and yet they still willingly proceed...they 'create' and give full permission for this child to be introduced into their bodies and is no fault of the child.

In this day and age, in Western Civilization, contraception and knowledge of sex is pretty well established and there should be no need of abortion. This only proves that lazy and irresponsible people create and then destroy lives out of selfish desires...it has become 'their' birth control.

And this is just sad and telling of our society.
