If you are ever able to find real documentation and journals you will find truth, for example ,English settler's found a nice piece of land in PA somerset, only after a few months of being there the Indians came and cut the breasts of the grandmother, raped and scapled the wife and also scalped the 3 and 5 year old kids, that is where the name savages came from. The Indians did not want to share all this land north America, when in all reality it does not belong to any group, they were savages in the beginning no different then when the Spanish came to Mexico and seen the Aztecs cutting all the hearts from there win peoples chest as sacrifice, the Europeans brought education, humanity and god with them. |

Actually, the Pilgrims got along well with the natives for about 50 years before the latter got cheated out of their lands. Those years of cooperation ARE something to celebrate. I'm actually a descendant of a Delaware woman (I also have American Indian ancestry from other tribes). William Penn's sons screwed the Delaware with a phony treaty, the "Walking Purchase," which resulted in land the Delaware still inhabited to be sold to settlers. All humans are sinful. I have no doubt that if the tables had been turned, some dishonest Indian leader would have screwed white tribes out of their land. It's just how a lot of people are, unfortunately. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't give thanks for what you have. |
