Your girls are your family TTown. Why don't you have the opportunity?

Do you know how to cook? If you don't, some of us can walk you through it. It's too late to thaw a turkey, but you could easily do a roast chicken.

Peel a few potatoes to boil for mashing, dice up a couple apples and a few grapes, make up a pack of dream whip and put the apples and grapes in. The girls would love helping.

The girls could make paper turkeys, color them and make place mats or a name for each plate. You could play games with them while the food cooks and they'd remember it as a happy day.

Is it money? List what you have and some of us will help you make it special.

Don't be sad. Most people don't have ideal circumstances, or wish it was another way. Sometimes we just have to be grateful for what we have and are able to do.

Today is the beginning of my 12th consecutive winter holidays alone, the seasonal depression is starting in today.

I'm going to take a nap, then start drinking early, then fall asleep again, repeat until nightfall.

It comes in a box, blue and white, usually near the jello area. It's a packet of powder and you mix a half cup milk with the powder and beat it with a beater. It's the best whipped cream ever to use with the apples and grapes. Really good.

Yay, so how about if the girls make the hamburger meat into the shape of a turkey? Just a round lump with an area squished up to make a neck and head. A toothpick would hold it in place if it wiggles. (don't forget to take it out when it's done)

Then put it in the oven on 350 degrees and bake it. While it's baking, make your spaghetti noodles but don't put the sauce on it.

Swirl the spaghetti around to make a "nest". Then, when the hamburger turkey is done, set it in the middle of the spaghetti nest and let the girls decorate it with the sauce.

You could even have a bean and rice mix with butter as a side dish.

If you don't like that ideal, we can think of another one.

You could even hide 3 beans in the spaghetti. They could be the turkey eggs. Then, whoever finds an egg in the spaghetti, gets to choose the game to play after you eat. LOL.

pasta and meat sauce rocks, even for thanksgiving dinner. you dont have to despair because you dont have a turkey. hell, there are times i would have killed for a plate of rice and beans, so even those humble munchies are nothing to sneeze at. never mind africa, there are folks right here in the us of a who have nothing but empty stomachs to look forward to tonight. life may seem way sucky if you use kim kardashian as your barometer, but having food to feed yourself and your kids tonight puts your situation head and shoulders above lots of others. cook up a big pot of spaghet's and sauce. fuck the turkey. happy thanksgiving ttown
