Fear not OP, the eskimos lived in such conditions quite well.
But they didn't have hordes of dumbshits around them either, so yeah, it might be rough.
On the other hand, have you tried volitionally flying in your dreams? I need to practice more but it's awesome when I can do that.
Also, flight can be enriching in real life as well, that is to say, gtfo as soon as possible.

It was awkward, but oddly thrilling, and really did not seem like a dream. Only if I panicked did I start to waver and lose control. Kinda like Arthur Dent described it.... Best dream ever, and never repeated since. :(
