Originally the world was under the dominion of Adam, but since Adam obeyed Satan instead of God, the world became under the control of Satan.
Jesus bought it back by becoming the "second Adam", but Satan is still allowed to continue his demonstration of his "better ideas" of government.
However, the experiment with evil will soon be finished, and once everyone has made their choice, the world will be re-created, and evil will be removed.

Edit for more.... Your unbelief is meaningless, until you get to argue it. Do not be fooled and think the believer does not know this. If we sat and watched you spew, you would soon be quiet. You need us to feel relevant, because all that you stand for depends on the argument. If we left you alone.....what do you have??.....nothing. Because that is what you believe...nothing. I need no Bible, I read it once and understand it. No doubt..no whiny squabbling over non-essential bs......if the thumpers let you be, you would be alone and miserable.
