Why would they use this as the intro for a singing show? A large 'X' flying through space and then hitting earth is not relevant at all to a singing competition. The intro reminds me of an asteroid hitting earth. I then typed in X Factor into dictionary.com. Here is the second definition for x factor: A variable in a situation that could have the most significant impact on the outcome. Hmmmm....an 'X' aka an asteroid hitting Earth definitely fits the definition. Or perhaps it's just a scare tactic for those who believe in Doomsday. Maybe I'm being too analytical.
