The HUSBAND, moran, NOT men in general. *facedesks* Your own quotes bear that out. I am a wife and my husband is the undeniable head of our household. He also loves, protects, and respects me as his helpmeet. I am not less because of this. I have a position of honor in our family and our sons know that. They bless me as their mother, give due honor to their father, and themselves are loved, cherished, and adored. If people keep things in a godly and Biblical perspective it makes this life EASY. >.<

God orders, (doesn't suggest), that a husband love his wife as Christ did the church. And orders a wife to obey her husband. A wife is an Ezer. Man's helper, not in a condescending way, in an honorable way. This IS the way God intended a marriage to be, in my ever so humble opinion. But that husband has to follow God's word, not his own word, not the world's word for it to be successful! Feel free to call me a BibleTard. I'm okay with that. :-) In my house we don't live by religion, and yet it works, go figure! We live and work together as equal partners. Sometimes the husband takes charge, sometimes the wife. We both have our specialties. There are common sense rules, of course, and those are based on on honoring each other and good common sense and rules. Neither person feels they are the boss over the other, and neither of us would tolerate that, it would end the marriage, that kind of behavior. Huh, sounds like a marriage that works! Go figure!
