Quoting: Hello? 13603474 Anytime I have a problem with a service that I pay for, I call the provider directly and get them to do their jobs. Wow...my phone isn't working...I'll Google it...wow...I don't understand what that has to do with what I want to know...I must post this on a conspiracy site and see what is really wrong with my phone... vs. Shit...my phone isn't working again...I'll call Verizon and get them to take care of it! You really don't get it, do you? I googled a certain phrase, and a completely different one came up in every single hit on the results page (using the 'Past Hour' search parameter). The phrase that kept repeating was relating to my inability not to be able to use my email on my blog. Why would this phrase come up in every single search hit, even though the actual phrase didn't appear on any of the web sites? THAT IS NOT NORMAL! Also, googling to see if someone else is experiencing the same problems is the fastest way, in my opinion, to find out if the problem is widespread or confined to a small number of users (or just to me, as the case may be). It's always worked for me in the past for other issues. Try it some time. Use the 'past hour' search option. Regarding contacting my cell phone service provider, I tried emailing Telus to find out what was going on with my cell phone, and I got no response from them. I have no other phone in my home, so clearly I couldn't call them unless I wanted to walk a kilometer to use a pay phone. |

Or are you just getting a bunch of technical errors for something that could be fixed by troublshooting or calling the company and youre a little paranoid about it? IF I WASN'T PARANOID, WHAT IN GOD'S NAME WOULD I BE DOING ON THIS SITE???? My internet provider is not the same as my cell phone provider, neither of which are connected to Yahoo (as far as I know), so I have three completely (as far as I know) independent telecommunications entities doing strange things with my technology within the past couple of days. Like I said, it could just be a coincidence. Or not. true, id be lying if i said i didnt have a bit of paranoia as well lol. whats your theory on why this is happening? |

The usual -- "they're out to get me" is always the first that springs to mind. Or it could be new algorithms on google causing the weird results. Or Yahoo could really be doing site maintenance, causing my email to be inaccessible for what seemed a million years (but was really less than half a day). Or a telecommunications satellite could be having difficulties due to atmospheric conditions or equipment failure, causing my cell phone to be unusable. But this is GLP, so my money's on the first option -- they're obviously out to get me. |
