To save a little money? I'm sorry, but it just isn't worth it to me. I would rather pay regular price for something I could freely walk in and out of a store in 10 minutes than to stand in the middle of a mob for hours. Those people are nuts. Not worth it at all.Probably be on sale for $5 more from now till Christmas any way or you can buy it online for almost the same price a few days later.I wouldnt get in a crowd like that for any reason. |

Quoting: Resister I agree! I think I went to the mall on black friday one time, when I was about 19 yrs old. That was only because my buddy really wanted to go. It was such a pain in the butt, we had to drive around like 20 minutes to find a parking spot. Then, you could barely move in the stores. I'm going to shop just like I have the past few years- online. what makes you any better than the people who go out on black friday among the madness? youre still shopping for material goods and looking for deals on stuff you dont need, just lusts of the flesh...just either at the convenience of your fingertips or by going when theres less crowds. do you not see the fault in your reasoning? can you not see youre just as guilty? remove the plank from your own eye before you cast righteous judgement...dont be a hypocrite. This thread wasn't about materialism, but the insanity of the throngs of people who wait for hours in a parking lot to all rush the shelves in a fury at one time and the mob mentality and violence than ensues. Nothing wrong with buying something a a good deal, but the same product is available for most of the rest of the year without the hastle.
