I know someone who bot a Toshiba laptop at WM and took out the extended warranty. the hardrive died shortly after manufacturers warr expired. WM replaced it at no charge.... I haven't bought an extended warranty since I paid over $1200 for a new mustang warranty in 1996 and never used it once, but my son insisted on the tv warranty. I will be keeping the box and packing material.
