Silver and Gold going Vertical Today | |
Philligan (OP) in rainbows User ID: 2530194 United States 11/23/2012 12:29 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No kidding. You don't even have the chance of doubling your money with gold or silver. Even Hunts at $ 49+ in 1980 adjusted for inflation is only about $150 oz now. With dollar failing and inflation coming you'd be better off debt free first. doubling your money? Lol find an investment where you can double your money in today's market and you'll be a rich rich man, Ive been trading investing for the last few years and let me tell you silver and gold (physical) are the safest investments. Besides Apple they have been my best investments Buying a rising bubble is more difficult now to be sure. But... silver never has paid off otherwise. It doesn't keep pace well with inflation and unless you sell on an inflation marker , $60 oz for example, you will simply own a metal that lags the fall of the dollar and the net result when selling is a comparative loss... though better than nothing. Inflation is about to seriously erode buying power in a world with fewer cash reserves. When people starve they won't be buying investments, therefore, buy their pain and want. Food, fuel, security, communication, .... globally will payoff. Vices pay well too in times of trouble. That scenario is an all out decimation of society which is unlikely in our lifetime. Im not saying we wont have some doom but the doom your referring to is all out catastrophe. In times of the US being so far in debt they cant dig out, the dollar collapsing, physical silver and gold, guns, and food, are the best investments Pray for Us Sinners Now and at the Hour of our Death |

cinnamongirl User ID: 5098073 United States 11/23/2012 12:47 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | During that large NE USA blackout several summers ago: ( from wiki)The Northeast blackout of 2003 was a widespread power outage that occurred throughout parts of the Northeastern and Midwestern United States and Ontario, Canada, on Thursday, August 14, 2003, just before 4:10 p.m. EDT (UTC−04).[1] While some power was restored by 11 p.m., many did not get power back until two days later.[2] At the time, it was the second most widespread blackout in history, after the 1999 Southern Brazil blackout.[3][4] The blackout affected an estimated 10 million people in Ontario and 45 million people in eight U.S. states. .....people were getting $180 per case for water!!!!! One hundred and eighty bucks for a case of water that costs maybe 4 bucks. Did you see the scenes after Sandy of people holding rolls of toilet paper and calling it "gold" We have some gold and silver, not much, but a little. We also have 6 months of food. If all you expect is a currency collapse, by all means trade in dollars for metals. Smart move. If however, you anticipate worse, and live anywhere that might have terrible earthquake or loss of electric from a solar flare or EMP or other cause( hint, almost everywhere) you might be smarter investing in barter items. Do you want to go broke having to buy what the other guy has extra of and you can't live without? |

Edit: More news about gold climbing: [link to www.forexpros.com] Seems like it raised on expectations for Greece aid, if it happens, gold will stabilize. If it don't happens, gold will skyrocket and fears of Greece leaving the EU will become almost a certainty. Last Edited by MaybeTrollingU on 11/23/2012 12:53 PM |

Can you see the large pennant formation which ended in August??? This is a pennant continuation pattern......with the pennant being a correction lower that lasted about one year. We broke out higher from the bottom edge of the pennant in Mid-August. You will see new highs in all the metals fairly soon. [link to bigcharts.marketwatch.com] David |

Jim "Mr. Gold" Sinclair is confidently predicting that gold will trade north of $3500/Toz. I believe him. He called for $1650 when all the critics were calling him a moonbat! |

If you know the math, you know that gold and silver (ESPECIALLY silver) are incredibly cheap at current prices. As some have said on this thread, you need plenty of food and water on hand (6 months is a great goal) and barter items as well, but if you have significant net worth and can invest beyond those needs, then physical gold and silver held in your own possession are the place to be. |

Moran and Goldman Sucks selling naked contracts, as approved by their SEC PARTNERS, are all away for the weekend, having made millions and splitting it at parties in the Hamptons, RIGHT NOW ! Also, salivating at the prospects/ LAYING PLANS for a BIG takedown come Monday ! BUT there will be a day when NO ONE sells them silver bullion to COVER their LIES/paper backed by NOTHING ! Then $100 silver is only days away and some mansions on Long Island will sell CHEAP as will expensive apartments in NYC ! DON'T sell UNLESS you have IMMEDIATE place to spend your depreciating PAPER money for a RISING product you can PHYSICALLY posses ! Eagle |
