Silver and Gold going Vertical Today

That scenario is an all out decimation of society which is unlikely in our lifetime. Im not saying we wont have some doom but the doom your referring to is all out catastrophe.

In times of the US being so far in debt they cant dig out, the dollar collapsing,physical silver and gold, guns, and food, are the best investments

Wow silver almost at $34 gold just hit $1750

During that large NE USA blackout several summers ago:

.....people were getting $180 per case for water!!!!!


One hundred and eighty bucks for a case of water that costs maybe 4 bucks.

Did you see the scenes after Sandy of people holding rolls of toilet paper and calling it "gold"

We have some gold and silver, not much, but a little. We also have 6 months of food.

If all you expect is a currency collapse, by all means trade in dollars for metals. Smart move.

If however, you anticipate worse, and live anywhere that might have terrible earthquake or loss of electric from a solar flare or EMP or other cause( hint, almost everywhere) you might be smarter investing in barter items.

Do you want to go broke having to buy what the other guy has extra of and you can't live without?

Markets really odd today, gotta stay sharp. BTW, here is why gold climbed:

Gold prices climbed on Thursday after data showed that Germany’s manufacturing purchasing managers’ index rose to 46.8 in November, up from 46.0 in October and better than forecasts for a reading of 45.9.

Meanwhile, the euro zone’s manufacturing PMI rose to 46.2 this month from 45.4 in October, above expectations for a reading of 45.6, while French factory data also improved more-than-expected.

Seems like it raised on expectations for Greece aid, if it happens, gold will stabilize. If it don't happens, gold will skyrocket and fears of Greece leaving the EU will become almost a certainty.

Here is a five year weekly GLD ETF chart.


Can you see the large pennant formation which ended in August???


This is a pennant continuation pattern......with the pennant being a correction lower that lasted about one year. We broke out higher from the bottom edge of the pennant in Mid-August.


You will see new highs in all the metals fairly soon.

This is a great selling opportunity. Then, when it starts on its way back down, as it surely will, re-buy. Rinse and repeat. CAUTION. Don't try to guess the high or low.

One can of beans went from $.68 to $.97. Sure glad I bought low. I bought sugar at $9.98...It is now $13.69 at my local Winco. (25 lb.) I got Progresso Soup at $.98 that is now "on sale" at $1.48!

I have a storeroom that is getting more valuable every day.

The fractals are saying we're about to embark on the most powerful rally in gold and silver since the precious metals bull market began 12 years ago. If you know the math, you know that gold and silver (ESPECIALLY silver) are incredibly cheap at current prices. As some have said on this thread, you need plenty of food and water on hand (6 months is a great goal) and barter items as well, but if you have significant net worth and can invest beyond those needs, then physical gold and silver held in your own possession are the place to be.

DON'T get TOO excited !

It ONLY SHOWS that the paper fiat traders from J.P. Moran and Goldman Sucks selling naked contracts, as approved by their SEC PARTNERS, are all away for the weekend, having made millions and splitting it at parties in the Hamptons, RIGHT NOW !

Also, salivating at the prospects/ LAYING PLANS for a BIG takedown come Monday !

BUT there will be a day when NO ONE sells them silver bullion to COVER their LIES/paper backed by NOTHING ! Then $100 silver is only days away and some mansions on Long Island will sell CHEAP as will expensive apartments in NYC !

DON'T sell UNLESS you have IMMEDIATE place to spend your depreciating PAPER money for a RISING product you can PHYSICALLY posses !
