meganebula (OP) User ID: 547854 United States 11/23/2012 09:02 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Stop focusing on whether or not there will be cell phone service, and think how nice it might be to have a way to generate just a little bit of electricity in your bug out bag? And then, think of all the things your cell phone does other than text and call. Think of how nice a light bulb might be, like if you have to perform surgery in the night? Think about the precious miracle it would be, if in human kinds' darkest hour, you could still hear "Ode to Joy" because you have it on your mp3 player, which is powered by your hydrogenerator...... Think of weeks/months later, you no longer have to run but can start building a homestead. Reverse engineer that baby, make a larger model, and have electric for your new home! Do you guys think outside the cell phone box at all? LOL! Love to you all! love... |

CB is pretty universal at this point.....a better choice for communications needs. |
