Interesting that in written form, God is included, but he will not or can't give thanks to God verbally.

Kinda sad, but the Godless do not care and they voted him in.

Yes, it is interesting but sad to see how in Thanksgivings past our presidents openly and clearly acknowledged God as the source of our prosperity and blessings and declared Thanksgiving Day as a time to reflect with gratitude on all we have and TO THANK THE GOD THAT BLESSED US SO RICHLY.

Our current president is doing nothing more than reflecting back to us what we now worship----the god of self and stuff. We have removed Almighty God from our national identity.

We will bear the consequences for OUR actions.

It's not about how decent they are, it's about them recognizing and respecting the fact that this country, and many of it's holidays, are founded with God included. For Obama to omit God from this address four times in a row is not by accident - there is a reason for that. Who knows what's going on inside his head or the heads of his speech writers - but it is becoming apparent that God holds less importance for them than previous administrations.

My "God"! Seriously? There are people who really count how many times a person mentions "God" now-a-days?

Does someone else have to utter something for you to be content in your belief?

Since Thanksgiving is a celebration of the bountiful harvest from "Mother Nature", would it be OK to thank "Mother Nature"?

Since it was the Native "Americans" who showed the pilgrims how to plant and grow and survive, shouldn't they have thanked them instead of "God"? Would it be OK if President Obama thanked the "Great Spirit"?

This departure of our president in diss-ing God represents a seismic shift in our national identity. the fact that you don't realize this is further proof we have drifted soooo far from what we were about that it is evident that we will NEVER be that country again.

Lucky you, you don't know the difference and will not morn the loss of what was the greatest nation on the earth. The rest of us will grieve the demise of a nation you never knew. Our sorrow will be immense and you will continue to scratch your head and be perplexed as to what we're talking about.
