Think I saw a UFO ! ... just took a picture !!!

just wondering if anyone else has seen this sort of thing blue and green flashing ? ...
ok yeah I really saw this thing what ever the hell it was.
no way it could have been a balloon it was going so fast in many directions !

well i know what i saw even if no one believes me . sigh have not told my family they will think im nuts :(

Well last night I saw a flashing blue and white light. It was pretty high in the sky and as small as a star. At first I thought it WAS a star because plenty of them were out last night and really bright. Also I've seen stars that twinkle/flash red, white, and blue. No lie. But the light that I saw was no star. I don't know what it was but it started going Southwest in a zigzag formation. I'm wondering if it was actually a straight line and the cold atmosphere actually only made it appear to zigzag. All I do know is that it was not a star unless it was falling. I looked at your photo and it's hard to say what it could have been but it was not a bird or a plane. You seemed to have gotten a red reflector flare from it and it looks like it was moving whatever it was so I call it a u.f.o. as it IS unidentifiable and it was obviously flying. Also that flare tells me it was flashing another color other than green.

thanks for the feed back ... this seemed so surreal to me and I wondered if i was losing my mind . infact, I didn't even expect anything to be in the picture when I got home but when i closed my eyes i could still see it in my mind - they way it flashed and darted like it was something not man-made .
then I looked at the picture and went wow that came out !
I have a few friends that I trust who have seen this sort of thing so I have kept an open mind . but when you see something with your own eyes it kinda blows you away and suddenly the world seems like a different place ! ...hard to explain or even put in words .

Woah, I didn't even notice the red spot ( reflector ? ) at to the bottom side right of the green flash until you just pointed that out !... good observation !

No problem! I totally understand as my whole family missed seeing what I saw because they ran in the MIL's house when they saw me taking pics of the moon. Strange stuff going on there I tell you! I just put them on the comp and I only use myspace to post them so I cant share them on here unless I send in mail and I'm not sure about the rules here.

I will say this about what I got near the moon. A stationary orb and a GREEN orb that came and went. The moon was super bright so if something were near it, it would be hard to see with just your eyes unless you had binoculors (which I didn't have on me) or a telescope. But like I said...that blinky light was pretty far away or very, very small. So there could have been a similar one or two near the moon and I would never have seen it with the glow that puppy was putting out!

Thanks I had my nikon on me but wished I would have had a better zoom lens on me that day ( should have brought my other cam with a 24 times zoom ) . I always carry my camera on me you never know what you will see . I am always on the lookout for wild life and have spotted a huge condor in the area once and was hoping to see one again .

Kinda makes you want to buy a good telescope right ? I am always looking to the sky looking for anything unusual . So much of the unknown and unexplained out there that I feel people miss cause they are just not aware or looking .

Funny thing about this...we had one from xmas time 2010. The kids broke it. I got one for my hubby in 2011 but he returned it. >:( We found on that was working in the trash a month later and the kids broke it. I gave up! LOL!

yeah i got three kids they broke mine too .
ok so I finally told my kid about this .
expected her to think i was crazy .
she said oh yeah me and my friends saw something like that at the beach it did the same kinda thing ...

Kids...well they don't want people to think they're crazy either, even if they do crazy things. :)

Kinda makes you wonder how many people see stuff like this daily and JUST DON'T talk of it for fear people will think they belong in a looney bin !

I am an observer and always photographing anything and everything . I study , animals, people, weather patterns anything out of the normal and am always in observation mode. Please trust me when I say *I have NEVER seen anything like this darting through the sky !

Surreal is the only word I have for it .

and WAY too advanced to have been some kids remote airplane that's for sure !

Tennis ball falling down. Looks like its higher than it is because of where the person standing throwing the ball vs where the photographer was.
