The Influenza (flu shot) and Gardasil® (HPV) Vaccines

I don't let a lot of things upset me, but this is definitely one of the ones that does... I really don't understand how this can be legally enforced (Well, I can, "at will employment" laws, etc.... but still). Are those who refused at least eligible for unemployment? Guessing not.
I wonder if exemptions were/are accepted. If not, I would love to see this company get sued into bankruptcy. Insidiously sick business..

-against employers being able of firing someone for anything they want

But I'm pretty sure that when those subjects are mentioned that the majority of the people against this will suddenly be against worker rights.

Each and every one of these employees that gets fired can be sued in small claims court for wrongful termination on the grounds of being forced to under go unproven medical treatment without consent.. Sue for $5,000.. That's the maximum.. The hospital will be forced to show up in court or lose the case.. It costs big bucks to send an attorney into small claims court..They won't want to do that.. Then you can start collection proceedings.. believe me.. this is doable.. They may also be required to reinstate your employment.. Make a stand in court.. forget getting an attorney..they are all connected and quite useless....

Our hospital gave everyone a choice - either get the flu shot, or wear a mask at work until springtime.

No, it's not a lie. Henry Ford Hellth Systems mandated the flu shot for every employee in MI. They also recently took over Beaumont, which is unifying (community organizing) the industry. Happening everywhere.

it's no lie.about 3 years back i was in hsp.and the sars vaccine was rushed out,the nurses were going nuts,they all had emails ordering them to have shot,90% refused(thats how much they trusted it!)so they couldn't all be sacked,but who knows this time round?

That was last year at our hospital. This year it is mandatory. Currently the union is fighting it. We shall see who wins in the end.

Surely there is some way to fake the paperwork and make them believe you are compliant.

I just finished an interesting book called "Dying To Be Me" by a woman who had a near death experience when her organs had shut down from having advanced lymphoma and her family was told she wouldn't last the night. Well, when she came back from her NDE, and awoke from her coma, she knew that it was *fear* that was causing her cancer. She also knew that it was OK if the doctors pumped her full of poisonous chemo drugs because they couldn't believe her cancer had really disappeared and she would still be OK. It really is a very inspiring book.
