Why has GLP been down all night?

Ah it's back, was afraid I was banned or something out of the blue, hehe
It didn't gave any messages about being down, just got a text that I couldn't access, and asked me to check my firewall etc..

And seems to be a bit slow.

The last post on GLP was made a few minutes after midnight. The first this morning was about 7:25 AM.

I was just able to get on now after trying all morning...I was starting to go through withdrawals.

Quite honestly, I'd swear the servers that GLP subscribes to must be low-budget dealios, perhaps operating out of China or Peru. They seem to cause this forum to lock up or hang throughout the day, definitely when lots of folks apparently are posting to it.

No, silly.

I was up until about 1 AM and I did check the board before I went to sleep and the server was down.

Then I woke up this morning and couldn't sign on at first. When I was finally able to I saw that people hadn't posted since midnight until 7:20 so I just put two and two together.

I check it before I go to sleep and when I get up to see the news.

How else would I have known that JR had died?
