When I discovered the GLP site was down, I (fill in the blank).

I lost it !! I Googled it. I pulled all my hair out. I bit off all my fingernails. I paced the floor. I emailed everyone I know (of course none of my friends or family even know what GLP is LOL)

And I prayed for Trinity.

My husband and I watched all but the last 45 minutes of this 2 hour long psychofest.

'The Divide' is about a group of people who are trapped in a basement in NYC after a bunch of nukes go off.

We couldn't finish it...it is that weird. Definitely worth the watch, a bit of it at least.

I definitely do not want to survive if something like this happens.

BUT, last night the server was acting weird, at one point it brought up threads from over a year ago.

It took a few refreshes to bring up the current threads.

Made a double strength coffee,checked router checked e-mail was working.tried GLP again, drank coffee tried GLP yet again YAY IT'S BACK.

..oiled the surfboard, sanded the club and put the mattress in the cave.

We old-timers know you'll be back when you are good and ready. :)

I was in bed sleeping when it happened. Noticed at 6:30am couldn't log in for an hour......Not much doom for me. lol

Lock & loaded, took my family into the bunker, sealed the doors, fired up the generators and we made some PB&J samiches till it came back up.

I hid under the bed with my swords, a gallon of mint chocolate chip & nervously awaiting the sound of helicopters landing in my backyard.

went back to work

raised an eyebrow and thought.... Trin would have Tweeted if serious doom was imminent and couldn't get GLP up. So, I checked Twitter. Nothing. Figured Trin was pissed after the unbanning everyone and everything and was making a statement...

LMAO...no...no...plese stop it...you guys are crazy

When I discovered the GLP site was down, I got anxiety.
Then realized I forgot to take my meds.
YAY it's back!

Checked in at 02:30 AM, nothing. oops

02:45, checked again, nothing.

02:55, realized I was going to have to research the old way for news updates.

Spent 3.5 hours checking world news sites to catch up on the last 12 or so hours.

Kept checking every quarter or so for GLP.

Finally, at 07:30, bingo, GLP was there.

07:35, mad that I had wasted 3-4 hours checking on news when it usually takes an hour on GLP.

How do I get those five hours back?

Hey - no sleeping on the job!

I Knooow...BUT!!! It's just one of those things your going to have to roll with while you wait for them to pull the trigger on your case file...their just too big!!!

As far as the near future is concerned...we're all SCREWED!
