are we heading back towards becoming giants

So I went out last night to a German brew house in town and noticed how tall the generation just 8 to 10 years behind me was. There were over 1000 people in the building so not a small sample of people. I'm in my mid 30's 6'4 and remember usually being amongst the tallest in the room now I'm seeing a good amount of the guys walking around all above me, girls are getting quite tall on average as well. So what do u think evolution or hormones , steroids etc pumped into food. Or perhapsi just live in an area with rather large folks ..
