Local cops have always been happy to come and unlock my car if I call them.

At least so they say.

Might be worth a try.
One of the most important aspects of conspiracy theories is being able to discern when there isn't one.

Oh yeah, like you'd understand anyway.

Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?. . .J. Handy

Re: Got drunk last night and locked my keys in my car at the bar..
This once happened to me 20 miles out in the boonies and my dog was locked inside along with my keys. The weather was hot enough that it was probably in the high 80's in the cab.

After freaking out I got to work on solving the problem. I went looking for a tree branch thin enough to get in between the windshield and the door frame but strong enough to push the power lock switch.

It took me over an hour but I was successful and it taught me that most of the time the only block to solving our problems is often our own minds - Remove that and the rest is nothing more the elbow grease.
