Vaccination Dangers, I got a Tetanus shot recently!

Last one I got I said never again. It made a hot, hard circle bigger than my hand around the injection site and hurt like heck for a very long time! But they said I had to have it because I had an injury involving a horse and horses carry tetnus.

Yeah I got one at the Holy Spirit Hospital.

You know the one with the medical waste incinerator for those cream-AT-ion of CARE rituals.

Years ago they were like you need this NOW! Ouch.

Yeah it made me sick for some time, real sick.

But they haven't found a way to kill me yet. (smirk)

Damn, sounds like you both have a had a very bad ordeal with this thing. Hope I don't, so far it has just been Diarrhea and arm Soreness that has practically gone away.

Has anyone else had this shot early in their life? Please share your experience with it.

I had the same experience. I was roofing my house and stepped on a roofing nail. I went through my shoe and way into my foot. Ouch, but the tetanus shot was far worse. I will not get another tetanus shot again. The only positive thing was my nurse was smoking hot!!! LOL.

My 12 year old son had it he just had a sore arm for about 5 days thenit went away that was it

Little correction, sorry but mistakes drive me mad until they are corrected.

Had it like twice in my life Most recently was about 2 years ago and it sucked alot Couldnt move my arm at all without intense pain infact it made my arm hurt WAAAY WORSE than the initial Wound that cause me to have to get a shot in the first place ( I cut my arm to the BONE)

The shot lowered my immune system almost instantly like I was being Drained of all energy or like my whole body was focusing on destroying what ever the fuck they put in my arm....

Last vaccine I got was 10 years ago before I got informed. Now I will never take one again.

just recently i took my son for his annual physical.

the nurse said 'we dont have a shot record he HAS to get all the boosters.

me: fuck you - you have all his records.

nurse ratchet: its not in the electronic chart.

me: not my fuckin problem you didnt transfer the hardcopy.

nurse ratchet: if its not 'here' he isnt up to date.

me: the 5 fingers attached to my left palm says he IS. *hey dumbass you have to fill out the form every fkn yr for the school that hes up to date and has been since he was fkn 9 yrs old. hello mcfly....fuck off.

dr verifies he filled form out in sept. *i have hard copy at home. i save everything.

nurse ratchet now has to eat a dick.

I cut my finger really badly over the weekend with an old pair of kitchen shears. There was a doctor friend of mine at my house later that night who recommended that I should get a Tetanus shot since I don't remember ever having one.

I went and got it yesterday and feel great today. No arm pain, I can't even see where I got stuck. No nausea or anything else that I read about.

It does kind of suck because I wanted only the Tetanus shot but they didn't have that, they only had the shots that included the Diphtheria and Pertussis vaccines.. The first vaccines I've had in many, many years. But like I said, I feel no different today than I do any other day so hopefully it's all good.
