I went to the links you posted and looked carefully
at the article. Apparently, you are mixing apples
and oranges in your criticism!
First off...the thread is all about some PHOTOGRAPH
(of stars shining over the 3 Great Pyramids of Giza)
that was, indeed, a photoshop-deal. I have absolutely
NO AGRUGMENT THAT THIS PHOTO WAS A FAKE!
But, the individual who wrote the article obviously
did NOT do his own homework and was plagerizing
the work of other mis-informed people!
QUESTION: DID YOU BOTHER TO WATCH THE TWO VIDEOS
THAT I POSTED ON PAGE ONE BY DANNY WILTEN?

You wouldn't be typing up all this B.S. if you
had watched the video because Wilten DOES USE
A STELLARIUM-TYPE PROGRAM and has the camera on
his computer screen as he goes through the steps
to show the alignment. He is a professional computer
consultant/astrophotography analyst and I don't
think that he wastes has valuable time trying to
"trick" people on UTUBE--or on GLP--for some kind
of sadistic "jollies!"

The only other comment that I would make...is...
YOU DIDN'T READ YOUR OWN ARTICLE that you are
basing your arguement on! THE VERY LAST PARAGRAPH
OF THE ARTICLE....asks that "anyone who is in
the area of the Pyramids of Giza and gets a good
picture of this alignment and the planets over the
pyramids....PLEASE SEND ME A COPY!! lol!
That is really really funny, if he is telling you
that the alignment ISN'T GOING TO HAPPEN.
HIS PROBLEM IS WITH THE PICTURE....NOT WITH THE

This reminds me of the article I read a few
months back about the Egyptian government
actually considering DESTROYING THE GREAT
PYRAMIDS OF EGYPT because they considered
them "Pagan!"
If there WERE pyramids in those craters and
the ancient civilization on Mars had a war
....maybe it's possible that they blew their
own versions of the pyramids up in the battle.
That would surely upset "The Gods"...maybe
that's why their planet is now just a burnt-

An online magazine has offered translations to Arabic news sources that purportedly indicate that Egypt's Salafi party has come forth with plans to demolish Egypt's Great Pyramids in an effort to bring down what it calls "symbols of paganism."

Bahrain's "Sheikh of Sunni Sheikhs" and President of National Unity, Abd al-Latif al-Mahmoud, has reportedly urged Egypt's new president, Muhammad Morsi, to "destroy the Pyramids and accomplish what Amr bin al-As could not," according to conservative political publication FrontPage Magazine.

Al-Mahmoud's comments relate to Amr bin al-As, a companion of the Islam's founder Muhammad, who invaded Egypt in 641 and began destroying Egyptian artifacts. Some early Muslim writers have noted that Amr bin al-As even destroyed the great Library of Alexandria, which was a hub of knowledge for the ancient world.

Amr bin al-As, however, did not have the means to destroy the massive pyramid structures back then, but the Salafi party now has the technology available to do just that.

Now that the President of Egypt is now their "Pharoah"
we may see more outcries that the pyramids be
brought down? It makes much more sense, though, to
just chisel all the faces off of the pharoah statues
and put the new guy's face on them instead??

Just finished watching that 2 hr 30 min video of Hancock's embedded on page 6 of this thread.

Mind blowing is a vast understatement. The fact that roughly 10,500 BC comes up time and time again, from one ancient civilization to another, is simply amazing.

Now, the only think Graham did not speculate on was exactly who this ancient civilization was. There are some clues:

a) highly advanced - especially in astronomy/astrology, mathematics, measurements, and sea-faring navigation.

b) were on an island surrounded by sea prior to the melting of the ice caps/end of ice age

c) were fair-skinned and bearded

d) came on ships that did not require paddles (ie, used sails)

Now ... and this is only mere speculation on my part without doing any research at this point ... but could these ancient peoples who spread their knowledge to all these ancient civilizations be those of Atlantis? Is there any idea of when Atlantis and Mu were in their hayday?

I dont know if it was covered in this thread, because it is too much to read, but this allignment, that happens to match the pyramid configuration on December 3. Well, from what I understand, this allignment rises in the east and will be a certain amount of degrees above the horizon in the east when it is "level" to the configuration of the pyramids. Dosent the Sphinx face east? So, the Sphinx will "witness" this allignment?

Hmmmm......

It is interesting that you brought up the
Spinx--and NO, nobody has mentioned this yet.
(Sorry that there is so much to "wade-through"

There was an excellent documentary about the
Sphinx--which of course, I didn't save, sad to
say. I can't even give you a link, but I will
search for it over the next few days. I can
tell you what I recall of my one viewing of the
doc. was that the Sphinx PREDATES the pyramids.
The researcher who was reporting on this claims
that the Sphinx was placed EVEN before the p's
were built as a warning of some cosmic 'EVENT'!
....Now if the Sphinx is going to be a "Witness"
to the whole spectacle of the alignment, etc.
on 12-03-12, then that would fit in nicely with
the "Two Witnesses" that Revelations speaks of
and is always talked about on the GLP threads!~
(I assume the other witness...would be YOU--
or the collective "US.") Is the Sphinx to the
Southeast of the pyramids, because I think
that's where Danny Wilten said the line-up
over the tops of the pyramids would be the
best perspective that morning. I wonder how all
of this is going to effect the 1,000s of protestors
who are in an uproar over their President
declaring himself "Pharoah?"
