Obamacare -- A Physician’s New Reality: Patients Ask Me to Break the Law

I have a surgeon in the family, and the hard part for them is they will have to deny care. They will look at the patient and say, "I have the technology, skill and experience to save you, but you aren't covered, and I'm not allowed to do this for free anymore."

He just did a $250,000 life-saving procedure for 'free' recently and saved a man's life. That will be a thing of the past.


Learn to take care of your own health now, so you won't need the government to do that later.

lie and present violence as an alternative if your will is not done. if they try to mandate something tell them you WILL hurt them if they do it, then go home, gather your shit fast get a gun and ammo and leave for the woods.

I always did this with psychologists and ALWAYS WILL.

tell them what you want. practice the lie - act it out. make yourself feel the real emotions when saying the words and say it like a sociopath to them. substantiate as much as you can, and go into logical loops whenever you cant explain away.

give them the positive answers they want in a healthy person. then wait, get together outside the law and band together.

this means you physicians have to risk your licenses and practice illegal outside of the office if you want to help. under threat of death and torture for selling out to the state - I think the punishment of giving up a civilian to a demonic government should be live cannibalism while raw. the horror would be strong enough to fight the laws command.

I have always taken care of myself, but at the age of 38, I have Lupus and COPD...(asbestos and second hand smoke related)

My children and I are currently on Medicaid...I need a lot of meds during the month because I get sick at the drop of a hat...so am I just going to be left for dead? I can't work because I'm too ill most of the time and have even gotten fired from jobs for taking too many sick days)

I would say NO!! Here is why. Once censorship begins you are no longer free and the constitution is a thing of the past! CENSORSHIP HAS ALREADY BEGUN!! We have seen this in all national news media stations on everything from election coverage to not telling us exactly what laws are being passed to certain parts of a law not being covered.

Is it true that ObamaCare forces people to buy health insurance?

This is straight from the law itself, under section 5000a, page 131:

‘‘(2) SPECIAL RULES.—Notwithstanding any other provision of law—
‘‘(A) WAIVER OF CRIMINAL PENALTIES.—In the case of any failure by a taxpayer to timely pay any penalty imposed by this section, such taxpayer shall not be subject to any criminal prosecution or penalty with respect to such failure.
‘‘(B) LIMITATIONS ON LIENS AND LEVIES.—The Secretary shall not—
‘‘(i) file notice of lien with respect to any property of a taxpayer by reason of any failure to pay the penalty imposed by this section, or
‘‘(ii) levy on any such property with respect to such failure.’’.

It's all there in black and white. Failure to pay the penalty for not acquiring health insurance will not subject you to any criminal penalties or jail time, and the Secretary of HHS cannot enforce the penalty with a lien or levy on your property. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when people use this provision to get out of paying the penalty.

Am I forced to buy health insurance?

Yes, you will be mandated to buy health insurance... if you don't buy it, your will be fined, if you don't pay the fine, the IRS , and yes, the IRS is the enforcement agency for this mandate, will garnish your wages, seize assets, etc.etc....

As a nurse looking to go into advanced training to become a primary care giver, ARNP, I want to branch out and away from this law. I figure I will do private care and house calls and charge cash, bypassing this crap. With advanced diagnostic machinery that do blood work and imaging you can pack it all in a little travel case nowadays. I propose moving forward by going back to the values that made small town docs great years ago, providing personal care and front door service. This is my dream, time will tell.

It absolutely does. The healthcare has to do with America and where we are going and the story directly relates to America. The healthcare bill is just another way of making us bleed!! It is directly related!

as a chiropractor, I can tell you not a single person, professional or trade magazine, newletter has responded to what it means for us. I am sure it is the end of our already dwindling profession. Lower and lower insurance reimbursements will pale in comparison to what is coming. Nothing good has ever come from govt regulation of any industry, ours is already on the ropes in so many ways this will just be the ender more than likely.

If you want to practice medicine you should go to a Medical School. Nurses giving medical advice, ordering tests and prescribing medicine...... Christ what's next, automobile drivers flying jets. Seriously.

My brother (who is an internist/nephrologist) told me that it is unbelievable what Obamacare is requiring that they glean from their patients for their "electronic files". Basically it comes down to this: the gov't is gonna know who can afford private insurance and will force them to spread their wealth to those who chose not to contribute by charging the privateers astronomical premiums/costs.
He is sick about it.
He was forced to install a $18,000 electronic system to cowtow to Obamacare, and they make it almost impossible to qualify for reimbursement costs. What a crock!!
He said he is going to retire soon (he is in his prime) b/c there is no more freedom for supposedly free-enterprise (which is why he started his own private practice to begin with.)
He will be laying off 6 honest office workers as a consequence. Thanks, Obama! Your care is at work!
