I'm sure there are libraries full of books on them. I have no desire to read even one of them. If I had, I wouldn't have asked the question, I'd probably already know the answer. The base could be filled with sand, with just a rock perimeter, and raised a bit to allow for compression of the sand, then another level of sand, and another course pushed into place around the perimeter. Are there drawings showing the construction? I seem to recall hieroglyphics showing slaves pulling blocks around. |
