I quit. After going to war, I was no longer fit to perform duties. They called it mental break, I called it waking up to reality. There was nothing to hold me in their service. They then had to let me go. Honorable. My life has been hell since. Most days, I doubt I will ever know joy agan. I do know, where I was headed when I left would have made me a shell. I do not regret getting out, only regret that I can not contain this misery from the experiance. They would say "HOPE you cant wait to kill people! Cause you are going to kill A LOT OF PEOPLE"

Your right it will be a Undisirable Discharge,or For the Good of the service discharge almost the same untill you appeal after a 5 year wait. Then if your appeal goes thru it upgrades to a General, with no benifits.

I hated the military. I hated the UCMJ that owned my ass and if I got it sunburned, well I could be found guilty of damaging government property.

But then I got out and after being out for a lifetime the military time ends up being not so bad at all.

It was only 4 1/2 years and that don't seem like nothing now.

Unless of course you are trying to make a career out of it. That never crossed my mind. It never crossed my mind during peace, so I cannot fathom doing it during endless war.

You took an oath. Live up to it and at the end of your service obligation get out. Don't ever break your word.

Dude....My entire family has been military. I am telling you this but im SURE you already know.... develop CHRONIC, debilitating migraine headaches!!! If they give you meds... THEY DONT WORK! Take that discharge and GO and DO IT BEFORE MARCH 2013!! Thats when they are saying everyone will be microchipped. We know the military IS ALWAYS the first ones to have anything done to them. Not to mention this stuff going on in Middle East is going to get much bigger real fast and yes !! Russia and China will be involved too--- along with many more countries.

Even sweeping the floors contributes to the machine. If not for his contribution they would have to fill it with someone else, thus wasting resources and little by little bringing it down.
