Russia may send warships to Gaza to "evacuate citizens"

While it's perfectly reasonable to assume that nothing sinister is at play here, we have to look at where these nations ships are also positioned and what is going on.

The Gulf of Aden naval build-up continues (China sent another military escort there just this week), Russian ships continue to be sent into the Mediterranean, and there is word that more U.S ships are being sent to the Persian Gulf and off the coast of Israel/Gaza.

When you add all of this up, that's a lot of international firepower concentrated in the one region.

If anyone knows what percentage of these countries navies are in the Middle East region right now I'd love to know because I'm sure we all accept that this ceasefire between Israel and Gaza is not permanent, and I think we also accept that next time the shit hits the fan over there Bibi will send the ground troops in.

What happens after that depends on how all of these warships respond in their movements/posturing. The big players in the region like Egypt (who now has another dictator, Morsi) and Turkey (waiting for "their moment of conquest") will no doubt influence what these nations do with those warships.
