The Story is on FOX news [ link to www.foxnews.com] As the author of three books on the American family and its intersection with pop culture, I’ve spent thirteen years examining social agendas as they pertain to sex, parenting, and gender roles. During this time, I’ve spoken with hundreds, if not thousands, of men and women. And in doing so, I’ve accidentally stumbled upon a subculture of men who’ve told me, in no uncertain terms, that they’re never getting married. When I ask them why, the answer is always the same.
Women aren’t women anymoreBoth genders are at fault . . . it's a two-way street of blame. Marriage is a choice made strictly for dependence and is called an "institution" for a reason. Truth is, humans are happier when they are not involved in any kind of relationship, and that includes sexual, because sex is a distraction, detrimental, baggage-inducing. Those who are in long-term dating relationship or a marriage and say they are happy . . . are lying, mostly to themselves.
