I just thought I'd share this has been the best year of my life
I've come and gone from this forum in the last few years and I notice there is a lot of negativity, general pessimism. I'm amused by the doom-gloom stories as much as the next person, and I sort of gave up on life for a while (and myself). BTW I am female and in my mid 20s.

I just thought I'd share that about a year and half ago I decided that my life would be better in a year and I'd lose weight, find my dream job and eventually a dream guy. I lost almost 50 pounds since then, I'm in the normal BMI range and I'm getting more attention which is weird for me >.> and I did land an amazing job right as I finished University! At first I was upset it wasn't the job I hoped to get, in fact it was much better in the end! I'm smiling everyday as I'm leaving work thinking wow I love my job (pay is good too!) and everyone there likes me and is so nice :) life is getting better! No dream guy yet, but I have my eye on someone ;)

Maybe these things seem a bit shallow and unimportant, but I do have bigger dreams for the future (somehow helping make the world a nicer place to live?) and this is just a stepping stone that a few years ago seemed impossible to get to.

So I promise there's hope if you have the right attitude and take action! Most importantly is to treat yourself well! Once you forgive yourself and promise to do better tomorrow, life gets better tomorrow!

Well, you have a month left to enjoy it.
You don't have a soul. You ARE a soul, you have a body.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.
