Over 7 million homeless pets a year, and we still BUY pets?! | |
| SilverPatriot User ID: 10518597 11/25/2012 07:31 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have taken in many pets over the years and truthfully speaking it is a difficult process in the liberal northeast who insists that they need to inspect your home before considering you to adopt a cat or dog. After we lost one dog to the infirmities of old age, we went to the local shelter and in spite of the fact, we could provide veterinarian backup from two states they still wanted to inspect our home. When my husband asked when we could inspect their home, we were escorted out of the shelter by security so we went to a private breeder for a dog. When the adult dog we rescued and had for over 15 died, we went through the same nonsense so again we went to a private breeder. When we lived in the Midwest, we adopted elderly abused dogs and a kitten and puppy from the local shelter without problems. Thus if the morons on the east and west coasts stopped to think that their socialist compulsion to control people needs to stop so that more animals may be adopted. |

Quoting: Shamar the problem with YOUR solution is you are only extending the current market if not creating a new one.......this will only result in more animals being produced to feed "the starving." hah, like they will EVER see this food!. Nope, your solution is not only heartless, but it wouldn't work for the purposes you would like to think. Heartless? You're kidding right? What's heartless is the number of animals living in shit filled cages and being murdered en masse and thrown into tallow works or dumps. Makes no sense to me. And the only thing I can agree with you as to your "solution" to the problem, is that these poor creatures that are subject the heartlessness of mass humanity, are removed from this god-forsaken planet....... There...now we're on the same page. The next step is using their carcases (remember, all matter is energy) for some good in this godforsaken world. but that only continues the "problem"..... or creates a market for unwanted animals, which already abounds. It's not a solution. We can use China as our model for this.
