Interesting... like I've said before, humans show up about 150,000 years ago. Why would we just be twiddling our thumbs until 5,000 years ago?

Statements like this really annoy me:"Once the investigation revealed beyond a reasonable doubt the true nature of the artifact..." There's no 100% proof in this article, just assumptions and "if's".

I have read an admission of fraud somewhere but cannot locate it.

Fail. God's creations have only been around at best 5 or 6 thousand years. The earth is not that old.

I believe these artifacts have been debunked convincingly, years ago.

Counter-fail, direct evidence suggests humans have been around longer than 5,000 to 6,000 years. There are ruins built by humans that date 12,000+ years old and older. Artifacts even older than that.

Like many other things, science can be very deceiving, especially to the self-seeking, arrogant mind.

The site is a refuse pile from a lightbulb and ball point pen factory. Russian standards are not neasrly as strict as American standards and the metals are not pure like they would be here. Thus the iridium and other metals. The entire site is an industrial refuse pile and some goobers went diggting through it and think they found something that doesn't exist.

The only relevant question here is : Are these artifacts really dated to 20000ys old ? If so, then that would simply mean we are not the "pinnacle" of civilisation.

Don't know if these are really this old, but I do believe that we just cannot be the first civilisation with high tech. It's just not true. We seem to keep rebuilding civilisations, and no one questions that fact. But the fact that it points (as do hundreds of other anomalies in history) to a recurring event that wipes them out, no one seems to be able to fathom.

I am thinking the stone map was the creation of the original designer / creator, and the metal is parts from the weapons used against them when the aliens from Venus (asians) invaded.
