Because such egos believe themselves to be morally and spiritually superior, they will come up with all sorts of stories and machinations to stay in control.

Ive been waiting for yearrrrrsss.

I thought soul mates are suppose to be opposite of each other. One is more negative than the other, her weaknesses are your strengths, and vice versa. When you make a connection, you will feed off her energies that you were lacking, to make you whole.

Also about ascending, one has to stay Earthly, as the one will be an anchor, that will keep one of you, from losing one's mind. When one does ascend, then both of you will be enlightened, as you two will be whole.

Whatever the New World brings, it cant be all lovy & dubby as we live on a duality planet.

That is what I was trying to explain to someone in their 2012 thread, who said "I am one of the few...". I tried to explain that anytime someone says they are one of the few.....they are getting tricked by spiritual materialism.


The truth is, as you pointed out, that spirituality is often a trap, just like materialism is. They are no different in how easily they can blind souls.


One of the greatest pitfalls of "spirituality" is pride. It is an ENTIRELY different pride than most people can recognize, and therefore they go on thinking they are becoming more and more selfless, when in reality, they are serving their Ego more than anything else.


Making claims like you are Jesus, God, One with the Universe, etc etc can all be dangerous just like anything else, because this universe is SOOOOO huge, and here you are, once again, thinking about YOU.

It was never about YOU. It never will be. THAT is what leads to enlightenment, or a real, heightened awareness. When you stop thinking of Self, and instead learn to experience this Universe without Self. Then you are moving towards a more spiritual existence.
