Question: When the magnet falls through the tube, does the pipe feel heavier? Or is there no additonal 'weight' added to the pipe during the process?
 Quoting: question 1572549

Thats a great question!
Hmmm. Answers anybody?
I really can't answer that as I don't have the setup.
Also you need to weigh the copper tube before and after you drop the magnet in.
But I would guess that the Magnetic Force is a FORCE.
So that should take care of the weight issue I guess.
Maybe somebody who's into physics can answer that?

Yes, there will be additional weight as the magnet passes through the tube, the magnetic field supports the magnet in the tube.
