think about it, if you have read 1984 then this is the thread for you...
i'm sure most of you have read the book, but i'm sure most of you do not understand the metaphor the author was trying to convey
in the real world, if you try and talk to an ignorant fox news follower/believer about how much they are being duped and about how much propaganda this country spews out, they either call you stupid or 'crazy.'
'crazy' has been a term thrown around A LOT lately, and while i do believe there are some actual fucked up people, (you know, the ones who believe they are God or some shit), so many people are misdiagnosed for the MONEY
there is BILLIONS of dollars in the pharmaceutical industry...
so what i'm getting at is, the word of mouth is a very powerful thing, and as soon as a person starts labeling you as 'crazy' you become immediately discredited in society and thought of as someone to generally avoid
the people spreading this notion of 'crazy' are the 'thoughtpolice'
they police YOUR thoughts and YOUR opinions and you become an outcast
similar to the people in 1984, there thoughts were policed by surveillance and the general public, and if suspected of such a thing, they were taken away and killed
almost identical to North Korea and its prison camps
understand?
