Quoting: G. House Russian style carriers don't use a catapult. they use the "kicker" at the end of the deck to provide end lift instead. They can launch with out reloading the catapult. notice the twin launch line on the deck. As soon as one plane clears the next can go. They start full out... to the kick on the ramp. very fast launch times. The side entry landing strip allows planes to land at the same time others are being launched. Very fast in and out times... The Chinese jet, the J-15 shown was the source of a great deal of friction between Russia and China... issues over patents and tech from the Sukoi's being "Borrowed" without consent. The J-15 jet is supposed to be quite good to very, very good. They now have a really big shit load of them... at least four airfields full I've seen pictures of. Silver capitalist, facist, nazi, communist, socialist, militarist, religious nutbars...family nuked, gassed,or robbed by all of them. history never lies but but men who write it do. take the man away you have the truth... ...grandpa stole first MIG17 in 52.. |

And the Russians actually built the ship. LOL Exactly. Wow, ONE carrier landing. Only 1,534,835 to go. And try a few at night, too. And in bad weather and rough seas. Then get back to us. Apollo astronauts couldn't have passed through Van Allen's Belt. Van Allen wore suspenders. |
