I live in Concord, Ca. And I have never seen rain like today. To say it is a absolute downpour would be the understatement of the year. The drains are backing up in the streets which leaves a lot of streets flooded out. I can tell there is going to be a lot of traffic accidents today.

My cat sensed the storm coming through this morning and woke me up early this morning acting very peculiar. Not his normal behavior and his meows were different. I was wondering if anybody else in the bay area has a pet that sensed this storm as well?

I'm in Southern Oregon - but I just am blown away by how often weather.com changes its forecasts! This has been a big storm for us up here (got 2 broken windows so far) but right now it's still and sunny whereas the forecast says it's supposed to be windy and rainy. Last night we did get over 50mph gusts.

I keep refreshing every few minutes to see if Tuesday's big storm will fizzle. Hope it does. Tuesday is supposed to be the last of the big winds.
