I live in Sacramento, CA and this storm is not as intense as made out to be. Right now it's simply overcast - no rain. Rained yesterday but not severe. We are supposed to get a few more days of rain. If it's anything like yesterday I think we'll be fine. I only speak for Sacramento.  these storms have more impact on the coasts, and inland/mountain snowfall, so look at the sierras...
