Treatment with vitamin C can dissolve the toxic protein aggregates that build up in the brain in Alzheimer’s disease. The research findings are now being presented in the Journal of Biological Chemistry. The brains of people with Alzheimer’s disease contain lumps of so-called amyloid plaques which consist of misfolded protein aggregates. They cause nerve cell death in the brain and the first nerves to be attacked are the ones in the brain’s memory centre. “When we treated brain tissue from mice suffering from Alzheimer’s disease with vitamin C, we could see that the toxic protein aggregates were dissolved. Our results show a previously unknown model for how vitamin C affects the amyloid plaques”, says Katrin Mani, reader in Molecular Medicine at Lund University. “Another interesting finding is that the useful vitamin C does not need to come from fresh fruit. In our experiments, we show that the vitamin C can also be absorbed in larger quantities in the form of dehydroascorbic acid from juice that has been kept overnight in a refrigerator, for example”. So far they're using warfarin (blood thinner) and a beta-blocker to manage it, but I've been told they won't be able to normalize it. They usually blame their cheap stethoscopes, but I'm not stupid. I'm overmedicated. I weigh 110 at 5'3" and continue to lose weight, though not as rapdly as before. ANYWAY! You need those small, bitter apricot pits/kernels: One per 10 pounds of body weight; every or every other day to get rid of your ulcer. Half a teaspoon of baking soda in water, is good for ulcers, and also, “live” yogurt or any good grade plain yogurt (youcan put in your own fresh or frozen berries in, but no sugar). Papaya, pineapple, apple, oranges, grapefruit are good if you have an ulcer. You need to get to a good health food store to ask questions and to learn how to eat. I get the dried papaya (no sugar added) and you must take a little EVERY TIME you eat or your ulcer will come back. I have gone 5 days and it is quite powerful and amazing... at first it does not taste that great, but it gets better... :) I personally didn't find it to be worse than my first beer or scotch! :) here is a documentary on it: [link to youtu.be] cool to know you can heal almost any malady with it--it is very lubricating, which is why they use it in make-ups... hydrates more than anything I have ever tried... hydration is key to health... and cleans out the vascular system, preventing heart-atacks and keeping skin youthful... you have to try it to know what I am talking about--you will feel the difference... I think we have been trained to think our urine is gross, rather than simply a blood-by-product, because it can cure almost anything... very nourishing for skin as well... It will clean out your liver like nothing I have ever tried and you will not get thirsty or dry mouth all day when you practice this in the morning... it is more powerful than any food supplement I have ever tried and more gentle... pretty profound, really... :) |
