Re: INFLAMMATORY Dental Advice
I had an abscess tooth and couldn't get to my dentist (female) for the last 5 years. Called a friend who owns a small vitamin type store here in Scottsdale Az. He had on hand some liquid vitamin C he creates himself. I used the liquid C for a 24 hours before I could get to my dentist. When I did get in finally the abscess tooth had healed. My dentist wanted to know how this could be. Told her and she wanted to know how to make the formula. You can make it yourself, watch this video. The formula and how to is in the description. I take a 1oz. shot 2 times daily.

The first part of the recipe is blended, I assume in a blender, but WHY, in step 3, does he say combine in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner?

Wish that I knew this when I was younger, however I haven't been to a dentist in years and still have my wisdom teeth.
I know a few people who have had their's pulled especially around my age but I don't see the point when there's no pain involved.

Why get rid of something that apparently has a reason to being there in the first place? If it didn't then it wouldn't have grown.

Use a blender for 6 min. (low speed) for the lecithin then, de-solve the C, then combine both in ultrasonic for 10 min.

i have like 13 teeth left

Broke 2 more yesterday

I hate dentists

Hopefully they don't absess again

I would like to thank the Canadian Healthcare system for the rounds of hardcore drugs given to me from age 7

That's why I have no teeth

If you want to hold back an abscess, you need to learn how to make your own quality Colloidal Silver.

I've abscesses off for near a decade before. Just had one pulled a month ago. And I had it for about 7 years. Eventually, and abscess HAS to go. But if you hate dentists as much as I do, and avoid them like the plague, it's amazing what you can do with Colloidal Silver, and other natural anti-microbials.

well, here's another story of my daughter's teeth. she'd be mortified if she knew i was telling all this. extra points for me.

anyway, they told us she needed to have her wisdom teeth out right around the time she turned 16. seemed legit, that's when i had mine out. they tell you they are going to grow in underneath your other teeth and ruin all that $$$ orthodontic work. that's how they getcha.

so she goes to the oral surgeon and he actually refused to take 1 of the 4 out. what?? well, because it was soooo far up in her head still it was too close to her sinus and he didn't want to mess up her sinus.

of course we'll have the privilege of paying all the surgical fees again when/if the 4th has to come out.

but my point is - i think some of us with sinus problems that had our wisdom teeth taken out as teenagers might've had the doctor that dug up there for them anyway.

The italics and bolded sections in this article are mine, not the author’s. If you do a search on baking soda and abrasiveness, you must go through over 100 results before finding articles that will give real information. I think most CTs know by now that Internet searches are queued according to what authorities want you to know.

Benefits of Brushing Your Teeth with Baking Soda
“We have all heard about the many uses for baking soda, the natural cleaner. But have you tried brushing your teeth with it? Baking soda has been used as a tooth cleanser for over 150 years. Somehow it got the reputation as being abrasive, therefore detrimental to the enamel. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Toothpastes are rated on a scale from 0 – 200 according to their abrasiveness. This is called the RDA value or “Relative Dentin Abrasiveness”. Pure baking soda has an RDA of 7. The closest RDA to this is 35, which is Arm & Hammer baking soda toothpaste. The RDA’s for every other tooth paste on the market just go up from here. You can read more about toothpastes and their respective RDA values here.
There are many reasons for using baking soda for brushing teeth. It is not only the least abrasive substance to use but it also whitens teeth, removes stain, and is also an effective germ killer against the bacteria that cause tooth decay and gum disease.”
Read more at [link to rahbardentistry.blogspot.com]

I do mix my baking soda with other ingredients, including arrowroot.

I shouldn’t get started on fluoride, or pharmaceuticals, but will just suggest one article:
[link to www.fluoridation.com]
WHY I CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT WATER FLUORIDATION
Based on new research, a former fluoridation proponent changes his opinion about the alleged safety and benefits of water fluoridation
by JOHN COLQUHOUN, Perspectives in Biology and Medicine, 41, 1, Autumn 1997

I understand that hygienists do take many courses and learn much in their field. But I must suggest that some of that education is, shall we say, “one-sided”, and does not encourage the patent to think for themselves or use effective homeopathic remedies. It is also meant to centralize all authority with ADA/AMA, implying the average patient is incapable of responsible research and behavior. I could give examples of how my dentist interacted with me over a few of these matters, but I’m not going on there :)

From recent posts, sounds like the title of this thread is starting to live up to its name!

I got my removed one at a time as they grew in... this is a lot less expensive and having a single tooth pulled is easy recovery. more trauma more risk. Im not sure about the regrowth because of stem cells in the wisdom teeth but it isn't necessary to get them all done at once and will be cheaper done right

Here's some info about diet and dental health. Apparently, Price was right, there are some vitamins and nutrients missing from modern diets that leave us with terrible dental health.

[link to wholehealthsource.blogspot.com]

I've always wondered, if brushing and flossing and going to the dentist is so good for you, why does dental health decline as you age? Dental health as a whole has gotten much worse, even with advances in hygiene and tooth care. So, if you want good teeth, eat and do what your great great great great great grandparents did, because they had better teeth than you.

Thank you OP. I have been trying to get a root canal appointment for a week now because I have had anxiety about the infection getting worse. After reading this I am happy I did not get the dental procedure!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28462194

It will continue to get worse until the abscess goes into the jaw bone and blood infection.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]
 Quoting: - 14012564

Yeah, I would worry about the infection, too. Would for sure not just ignore it; try some of the possible remedies in that article. Keep trying until it goes away.

I've read that dental infections contribute to heart problems and other serious issues.
 Quoting: Ralph--a house dog

Don't listen to the OP. Holy fuck what is wrong with some of you nutjobs? If you fail to get a root canal then have the tooth PULLED. You do not fuck with an infected tooth. I delayed a root canal for almost 7 years and treating a reoccurring infection about every other 2 years. Last time around I had a serious enough infection that almost started eating into my jawbone. Listen to your doctors advice and leave it untreated at your own risk. Why anyone trusts medical advice coming from tin hat wearers is beyond me.

Yep.was at the dentist recently and a lady was there with a very disfigured face. She spoke openly about the cause. An infected tooth that destroyed part of her face and almost killed her.Teeth are very close to the brain, etc.Do not mess around with an infected tooth. It can cause great damage or kill you.

Sorry missed that. It breaks down the molecules and allows the vitamin C to cling to the water particles so that they are absorbed into your system. Thought Dave explained that, SORRY. That's why 90% of the C gets into your system. When just taking C your body will only absorb about 10%.

Re: INFLAMMATORY Dental Advice
At about 20 I went to my dentist, he looked and said I needed two fillings (at that time I only had one). He marked on my card that I needed one either side lower jaw back molar. He was definite one each side. I has to return to get the work done.

The following week younger dentist (in the practice) looked in my mouth and on the card, probed about, looked on the card probed about more, and then decided to place two fillings on one side. I did not return to the dentist for 5 years after that.

Stupidly, at the age of about 25, I decided I should go to a different dentist. He pushed hooked and scraped so hard with the probe, it pushed my head about. I was young and foolish, and let him go on. I should have immediately stopped him and walked out. I bitterly regret letting that man do that and am still angry - to this day.

Anyway, my advice to anyone, especially those with kids, is to watch over dentists, an WARN KIDS that the dentist should only be using the probe in the most gentle way. If not, get up and walk out.

There are some evil fuckers out there who know they must "drill for gold". At the age of 53, mt teeth are still pretty good. I only go to the dentist when I know I have problems. And it's "NO THANKS" to the X-Ray request. These fuckers just love selling unnecessary bullshit.

My final advice is, if necessary, to pay extra for the white fillings. With (mercury) amalgam they have to under drill the tooth to get the blob of metal to stay in. Drilling the tooth away is mad!. The white material bonds to the tooth, they only need to minimally clean up the decayed area first.

Oil pulling or oil swishing is a traditional Indian folk remedy that involves swishing oil in the mouth. It is mentioned in the Ayurvedic text Charaka Samhita, where it is called Kavala Gandoosha or Kavala Graha. Ayurvedic literature describes oil pulling as capable of both improving oral health and treating systemic diseases such as diabetes mellitus or asthma.[1] While scientific evidence is lacking to support any systemic benefits of oil pulling, some studies have suggested that it may reduce oral plaque, halitosis, and gingivitis.

I had a dentist who had a very hard time getting a crown to fit, it was just too high. He decided he would file the tooth above it down... I lost my mind, and got out of the chair. I could not believe he was going to file down a perfectly good tooth just to get it to fit to the crown he jacked up.
 Quoting: Little Drummer

You did not research and ask questions before having it done?

How could you not have known they have to file a tooth before placing a crown on it?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 28477346

The crown was put on the on my lower jaw. Bottom teeth.

My top teeth that were super healthy was where he decided to file , he didn't even ask he just started to file it down.

My point is the only work I needed done was on a bottom tooth.

He started to file on a top tooth that was healthy and did this just to get the two teeth to fit together, (when I bit down) because the crown he placed was done wrong and he did not want to admit it.

I do not trust the medical establishment. I do not go to any of them unless I absolutely have to, the body lets you know when that is. You are the only one that has the best interest of your health in mind.

I had a dentist tell me he had to drill out a cavity that I could not see. Isn't a cavity supposed to be black? There was not a spot on the tooth, but he was 'hooking' something.

Since I was in the military I had no choice but to have it drilled. And he drilled away half my tooth!

Can't find the YouTube vid now but there's a lady who suggests oil pulling with coconut oil, followed by brushing with a mix of baking soda, sea salt and coconut oil and turmeric, then flossing. Then at night hold some turmeric/baking soda in your mouth and sip a little apple cider vinegar, rinse and spit. Her teeth were super white.

I thought it suspect since turmeric is yellow but it's working for me. The rinse of mixing baking soda and apple cider vinegar in your mouth causes a bubbling reaction which cleans between teeth. I've had a raspberry seed or stuff caught between my teeth and used this bubbling mix and it immediately removes anything stuck between teeth and feels super clean.

Here's a different article verifying that yes, turmeric whitens teeth ...

Apple cider vinegar will dissolve your tooth enamel.

Don't use it in this manner.
