And i=t isn't necessary to sanitize your mouth, baking soda and water will do the same, or a little hydrogen peroxide. * FLOSS ! VERY IMPORTANT [many people hate flossing, but that's how you get rid of particles stuck between teeth and plaque build up between teeth [most cavities occur between teeth and at the gumline], along with rinsing to loosen food and plaque before brushing. * Chew sugar free gun during the day, especially when your mouth feels dry; saliva acts to neutralize plaque. ================== Dentistry is a big business, and it's about making $ for both dental professionals and the many OTC and prescription stuff companies market. And oral surgery, cosmetic surgery, etc., is again a big profitable business. There's nothing really wrong or bad about most dental products on the market, the catch is many are simply differentiated products and most people can use the least expensive available just fine, or make their own stuff at home, for a lot less than buying pre-made stuff. Baking soda is an excellent example of something that's useful in many ways for good oral health and cost a fraction of most other stuff on the market. |

Then at night hold some turmeric/baking soda in your mouth and sip a little apple cider vinegar, rinse and spit. Her teeth were super white. I thought it suspect since turmeric is yellow but it's working for me. The rinse of mixing baking soda and apple cider vinegar in your mouth causes a bubbling reaction which cleans between teeth. I've had a raspberry seed or stuff caught between my teeth and used this bubbling mix and it immediately removes anything stuck between teeth and feels super clean. Anonymous Coward User ID: 28463717 United States 11/25/2012 05:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yeah, if you do chew sugar free gum, only use gum sweetened with Xylitol. This sugar substitute has 1/2 the calories of sugar, and a unique 5-molecule structure, instead of the 6 in sugar. When bacteria eat at it, they die. Some older dentists will even advise brushing with xylitol. I haven't had dental insurance for over two years, and it doesn't look like I will get any in future. Last time I had an infection, I put all kinds of things on it, alternating. I used garlic clove in tea bag, fuller's earth clay and activated charcoal to draw out infection, clove to reduce pain, and oregonal oil. I also took massive doses of garlic capsules throughout the day (one of the strongest natural antibiotics), and cooked with garlic. That was over a year ago; took about 4 days to cure completely, and it hasn't come back. I admit I was worried, the entire cheek was swollen. But it started receding shortly after I made my massive attack on it. I also gargled regularly, sometimes with warm salt water, sometimes with water and Grapeseed extract. Now I make my own toothpaste. Takes a while to make since I really add a lot to it. It is a powder, with baking soda, Xylitol, arrowroot, ground myrrh, ground Neem leaf, manganese powder, sea salt, mint, alfalfa, and a few other things. I also made a tincture for use in between, with myrrh, coconut oil, Neem oil, calendula, Tamanu oil, and I don't remember what all, although I have it written down. I always make enough for about a year. |
