Re: INFLAMMATORY Dental Advice
Man, I've been reading about this for awhile now and soooo want to believe it. Been doing some oil pulling and other alternative dental things but still get cavities.

Can anyone who does dowsing test the article to see which parts are truthful?

I've gone through periods where I say eff the dentist and didn't go for years, not even for cleanings. Always when I came back there were cavities and some I didn't get filled and they got worse and had to get root canals.

It infuriates me that I've lived a super-healthy lifestyle/diet for over 30 years and have a mouthful of cavities and five root canals. I haven't had a freakin' soda in 35 years!

I've wanted to grow and remineralize my teeth using visualization along with the other things mentioned but it disheartens me to read that one part about not being able to grow a new set of teeth if your wisdom teeth have been pulled!!!

Teeth have been such a stressful avenue of my life.

I dont believe alot of this. Im young and have hardly ever brushed. Ive currently got 10 teeth rotten and broken entirely to the gum and I have 2 left out 8 to be filled. The lady whos doing the filling and clean is genuine, the last time I went she told me shed saved my front too by having it drilled and filled. I thought nothing of it at the time but she was definitly not deceiving me.
To describe my front it was complete at the bottom and the width from ront to back was at 60% rotted at the top, it was no time away from snapping out like the rest. I also doubt myself that I would grow my teeth and they needed intervention they would not have healed themselves.

Yep, I hear you. I've sort of come to a conclusion that it's a genetic thing with the teeth. Or maybe even internal emotional stress affecting the health of the teeth, because despite my 35 years of alternative health practices and healthy diet, I still struggle with emotional issues that probably would have killed me if not for the buffering of good diet, herbs, juicing, fasting, etc etc.

Re: INFLAMMATORY Dental Advice
I do think Genetics plays a big part in how healthy your teeth are. Other factors I have personally seen to affect teeth health: having children (yep, don't know what the mechanism is behind that one); lack of folic acid or other vitamin, and of course, nutrition/sugar/acid. I'm sure there are many other reasons.

My mother had all her teeth pulled and was given false teeth by late twenties; and all of her children have had many problems. But the one with the most kids has had the worst problems. Other esential vitamins for good teeth health include CoQ10, calcium and boron and manganese ---don't just take one.

I've read that alfalfa helps re-mineralize teeth and aids in regrowth of enamal, so I've been drinking alfalfa tea. I drink only herbal teas now; sepcifically those that are full of minerals and anti-oxidants, and I have seen improvement.

Re: INFLAMMATORY Dental Advice
for my 15 yo daughter that ended up with a root canal - she had a small white painful patch appear low on the gum beneath the infected tooth. it was bothersome at first, but we didn't think too much of it, thought maybe she had scraped her gum or something and that it would go away. then it got larger and more painful so we went to the regular dentist after a week or so and she had to do 2 rounds of antibiotic to clear it out before she could go to the specialist dentist for the root canal.

she has beautiful super white teeth (with a jillion cavities). i really think there are 2 kinds of teeth and you get one or the other. i have the not super white but will still all be in my head when i'm 90 and she'll prob need dentures by the time she's 50.

Re: INFLAMMATORY Dental Advice
have not been to dentist in 23 years.

Just went to be evaluated for braces or invisalign and a slick dentist tried to tell me I had cavities in my back molar. He charges 320 per filling and said I needed two.

went to another dentist/orthodontist to get evaluated and he said don't worry about the tooth, it's fine.

Glad I did not let the first guy clean my teeth like they were suggesting - he would have put holes in every tooth I bet..

Dr. Ellie (google her - in Austin TX) says don't floss and use xylitol

but she also says use Crest regular, listerine and also some other tooth rinse.

I use baking soda, clay (terramin) trader joe's toothpaste or Tom's without fluoride - rinse with xylitol sometimes and sometimes with colloidal silver

no cavities ever

saddened to hear I fucked up having them take out my wisdom teeth, but at least no cavities so far.

The info posted in the OP resonates with me and I will check out the bloodroot mouthwash for myself and my household

here is a link to get the stuff to make it:

Interesting. Never knew Coconut oil could be used as a rinse/wash. I've been using a Waterpik and a Braun Pro Care electric brush and it really is a thorough clean.

Be careful with the Waterpik, my coworker got gingivitis from over use of the Waterpik. The Waterpik created pockets between the gum and the teeth and the pocket became infected.

For those of you using baking soda..baking soda is anbrasive. You are sanding off the enamal from your teeth and exposing the dentin which is soft and very acceptible to the acids that gram-positive bateria produces. Go ahead and sand your teeth brushing, and sand blasting them if you rinse with the baking soda. You will just cause your teeth to rot in the end. in You people are so, and I hate to call people stupid, but i dont know what else to say.

Baking soda lol.

Now toothpaste does have an abrasive but it is more gentle to the teeth. You do need to avoid "tooth whiten" tooth paste becaue they are to abrasive like baken soda because they remove enamal to remove the yellow layer of the enamal.

Tooth stains are subserviced, and you can whiten your teeth but you are removing the stained layer of your enamal which is bac, becauce you are removing enamel. Which like baking soda, you are sanding the enamal away. Which will cause rotening and cavity prone teeth.

Oh btw, you can request the hygienist to not polish your teeth, you can refuse them using flouride polisher if you do want them polished, for those of you against flouride.

Which brings the point, flouride is a natural mineral that the body needs. Its a mineral! It is found in some people's water supply, in thier spings. I have a natural spring in the mountains I live which has flouride as one of the minerals, its a mineral so i dont worry because it hardens the enamel.

I have perfect teeth bty. I go to the dentist every 6 months to have them cleaned. I have alway gone and I am 40. They have to do very. little because I brush well.

Gingivis is what happens if you do not brush. The gram-positive bacteria that produces acids resulting in tarter on your teeth. Tarter is white stuff, take your finger and scrape it accrost your gum-line and the white stuff is tarter which you remever when you brush. Gingivitis will enter below the gum-line, eat awaw at the tissue and will cause inflamation. That is wIhat causes your gumes to blee.

If you have bleeding gums, and if it isnt too deep you can reverse the inflimation in a couple of weeks, and your the inflamation will leave. Flossing it needed so you remove tarter between the teeth. You need to take the tarter away.

If you dont remove the tarter plaque will accor. Plaque is hard which gram positive bacteria will hide in and clinge to. That is why you get your teeth clean by the hygienist...they remove any place bullt up. The cleaning reduces thchance of cavities, he or she will scrape it away.

Look at most of brittons teeth, the people. they have trouble there with dental and rotten teeth. Most brishist people lost and have rotten teeth because they have no flouride in the water. Look at the result, it will show you why flouride is needed.

You people need to stop giving bad advise. The ones that listen and believe you will have major dental problens. Dental problems coost big money.

Wear denturs if you like. If you listen to these people, lose your teeth.'

(any miss spelled words, sorrry. Im on medication and typleing with one eye close. I am seeing double and cant even read what I am typing.}

But take the advice. Use fouride tooth paste, gentle abrasing. ask your dentist what type of toothe paste.

as a hygienst the main goal is to teeth people how to take care of your teeth. to prevent cavities.

I know because I have went through dental scool. We want you too have a healthy mouth.

Re: INFLAMMATORY Dental Advice
I need to add, people which dont remove tarter and plaque will have bad dentle problems.

I have seen patients with 10 millimeter pocket, which the real gumlling is just above the bone and the gram positive bacteria will eat at your bone. The inflimation gets so bad.

You are also pron to heart problems, because the bacteria will get into your blood stream..The major cause of heart desase is from the bacteria from your teeth.

The bacteria will get in other areas of your body, kidneys and you will most likely have a heart attack or dialysis because your kidneys are felling.

Not removing your tarter iws bad, brush please and use flouride.

Brush daily with Weleda Sea Salt toothpaste

NEVER floss

Rinse mouth with warm sea salt water EVERY night before bed

NO morning breath

NO plaque build up

NO receding gums

NO cavities

I have spent thousands over the years on my stupid teeth. I will try the baking soda instead of brushing with regular toothpaste.

I have always brushed and flossed. I can't imagine not flossing though. Having food stuck in my teeth drives me nuts not to mention I would think that it would be a breeding ground for bacteria if not removed.

I had a dentist who had a very hard time getting a crown to fit, it was just too high. He decided he would file the tooth above it down... I lost my mind, and got out of the chair. I could not believe he was going to file down a perfectly good tooth just to get it to fit to the crown he jacked up.
