VERY different situation. but your god "jesus" was sacrificed for you, and quite painfully too not that I'm anti jesus or any religion, just pointing out the obvious Also, let's not forget that most of the Americas (especially the south) were practically wiped out of its native people in the name of Jesus But none of those natives were victim of ritual abuse and torture "in honour" of Jesus. You FAIL. Can't even think about comparing the two.
