I think it's brilliant and very possible. It will probably start out with glasses (spectacles) first.

the concept is cool but i can already see it would truly be ridden with problems at its initial release.

the more advanced the technology the more bugs it has to work out.

AR stuff is pretty cool. It brings up some interesting ethical questions given what you can do with it though.
