How Many People are Preparing for Unrest in the Near Future?

What unrest cancelled! Obama was reelected!

Mmmmmmm! Mmmmmmm! Mmmmmmm!

I've asked this before, on similar threads.....never get an answer, in fact, often feel like a "thread killer." The thread just DIES after I ask this! Since this thread is still fairly - young - I'm hoping I will get an answer to my (very sincere) question. Here it is:

WHAT kind of "event" are you prepping for? I mean, if you are prepping for a natural disaster (think Sandy), then it is a fairly short duration....a month or so.

But are you talking about something else? Martial law? Social unrest? Riots? How long before gov't would settle that crap? A month as well?

But are you all talking something more severe? EMP? Tsunami? Volcano? Earthquake? WORSE????? Nuclear attack?????

HOW LONG are you prepping FOR??? Would a month be long enough? 6 months? ONE YEAR???? And HOW could you possibly know how much prepping is enough for that?

I have some food, some tp, lots of water, but I have NO idea what is enough. I'm serious. I would like to know what others consider "prepping complete."

Well, short term preparations are easy to see. Bulk dried food, water purification, emergency supplies...

I was thinking of a year or longer. You have land to live off of and be self sufficient, be able to raise your own food and make your own requirements, and be able to defend that against those who wish to take it.

No one can really answer your questions because no one really knows the answers.

And besides that everyone's situation is different.

natural disasters are localized to,certain areas ....although these will happen ...what will be the event that shocks the people is an utter economic collaspe to hit the entire western world ...

the elites wil let it go one for a few weeks just to get the people's mindset fertile to accept anything.....

What will be fully implemented at this time will be the NWO political and religious order

I will not accept it or join it because it will be the mark of the beast because without joining this accepting this new system ...you won't be able to buy or sell.....

what's my preparation for it? .... I've got a few extra cans of food and water and if it gets to bad then I will deal with that when it comes ...it will come

Our government,our administration, our president has failed us. They have broken the Constitutional codes and have betrade us. Is maybe time that we start to prepare and get our Origal Constitutional Rights back on track as writen by Our American fore-fathers indended it too be. We all must prepare. Yap! I doing what I can to prepare. Safe then sorry.

The move to seize all private property (mainly rural) is underway - people are being forced into the cities through forclosure and high property taxes

Wow,,, yes its a heavy question,, that many wish to avoid..

My gut feeling is we are in for a life changing event... I dont know about Planet X, or 2012, but I do picture a big solar storm smoking all our world as we know it. Just turn the hands of time back 150 years.. No power,, no cars,, no ice box,, no tv,, no power tools..

Good warm and heavy duty close,boots, hand tools,, items to barter with and 1000s of lost skills like growing food and how to dry,, smoke,, and jar... Time factor after the revolt and mass deaths,,,, 50 to 80 years.. Some say it would take 5 years just to replace all the transformers alone..

But anyone can see the looting,, sanitation,, sickness,, lack of food,, riots,, that would slow down the efforts to restore power again..

A survivalist called into Coast to Coast last night complained someone broke into house and stole all his preparation rations....

Trying to predict what outlandish disaster might occur is disastrous. There are so many possibilities none of which might ever occur.

I keep my expectations very low and realistic to two events only.

1. Transportation disruption.
2. Natural disasters.

Money collapse might be a reasonable third.

NWO is disguised as disaster relief.

Why prepare. It is all in God's hands. When it's my time to go, it my time to go. There is something waiting for me after this life.

If the the people in charge already know everything, why would they need to data mine this kind of information?

Wouldn't it be better to try and gain some solidarity?
