[link to www.businessinsider.com] Economics blogger Bill McBride was one of the early people to call the housing bubble, and he warned furiously in the years leading up to the collapse that the epidemic of no-doc loans and boats-in-every-garage would come to a terrible end. But unlike many other "doomsayers" who continued to warn about economic collapse long past 2009 (their names don't need mentioning... you know who they are), McBride was able to see the leg up, and has remained upbeat since the economy started growing again. Yep, European Union still in shambles. The US entitlement culture adding to our debt at a geometric rate. And small wars in the Middle East crescendoing toward a violent end. Food shortages, quakes, weather concerns, and solar flares, it's all good, the election books got cooked and the MSM beat off to Obama's portrait, but don't worry. Will they be so brainwashed that they will just line up to take their lashes, or will they actually stand up to TPTB and voice their opinions enmass? From what I've seen lately, there is very little that will get people to speak out against TPTB. We have companies poisoning our food.. We have oil companies poisoning the gulf of Mexico ... We have the Louisiana sink holes... We have victims of hurricane Katrina and Sandy .... We have victims of the bankers, losing houses and paying more taxes to cover those losses... We have a medical system that buries cheap remedies that cure cancer in favour of remedies that kill us quicker.. We have nuclear fallout that is being covered up...
