Doctor visits being replaced with Skype in UK?

What would you do if you were in surgery - and required an additional opinion from a surgeon that was on the other side of the world?

This is a great idea and is going to move ALL OF US towards a world where we don't need to rely on a doctor to fix our bodies.



Technology is a wonderful thing. The only way to make it through singularity is through technology.

A friend of mine in Bakersfield, Calif., was shocked when he went in for a check up and morphine refill. He was told the Drs office had been moved to the building next door. After being led into the treatment room, he found himself alone with a screen. An unfamiliar Dr.came on the screen, asked him some questions, while (what he assumed was) writing on his chart. The doc told him to pick up his refill at the front desk, and that he'd see him again next month.

It's already here in the usa

Oh hell, why not, Doctor's don't "Diagnose" anything anymore, you have to do that yourself, all they do is treat symptoms with pharma...
