Star that is moving really slowly outside of my window

Was just keeping my head really still and staring at this starlike object in the sky and it appears to be moving, but really slowly. And I can tell that its moving because I have these beaded string like things in front of my windows and the "star" was getting closer to a string till it appeared to be under it and on the other side. Happened with a couple of the strings. And I wasnt moving my head at all. And I cant see the star outside my window at all now. Just wanted to share.
