where is the winter weather

excellent!

In Alabama for the past 3 years, our weather has been one month off. The leaves didn't even change colors until mid November (normally mid-October). If there is a mild winter, leaves and sprouts happen in January, and then a February-March freeze kills them all. And summer temperatures have been a bit off as well, (July instead of August has been the hottest month).

5 DAYS IS OF VERY LOW CONFIDENCE...AND THERE IS LITTLE CHOICE BUT
TO TREND TEMPERATURES TOWARD CLIMO FRIDAY...SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
SO WHILE THE TEMP FORECAST SHOWS COOLING...THIS IS REALLY AN
ARTIFACT CAUSED BY TRYING TO FORECAST WITHOUT A RELIABLE SIGNAL IN
THE MODELS. WILL ENTERTAIN THE IDEA THAT A WEAK FRONT MAY AFFECT
THE AREA FRIDAY NIGHT AND/OR SATURDAY AND KEEP 20 POPS IN
FORECAST. AGAIN THIS IS OF LOW CONFIDENCE...AND IF POPS WERE NOT

El Nino fizzled out... Usually, it brings you more rain/snowfall through the winter.

I remember back in 2005 in Dallas area, I think on December 4th, it was 90*F... then got hit by 16*F a few days later which caused some damages to plants.

In Dallas here too, had brunch on an outdoor pato, everyone in shorts and tshirts like mid summer

....some say the world will end by fire ...some say by ice.

but I say, can't it be both?

Pick your spot based on your tolerance, because I think we're going to see the extremes soon enough

It's not winter yet, that's why.
Winter start on Dec. 21.
Last year this time of year someone from Europe asked the same question, why is it still so warm? After winter started, Europe had one of its worst winters in decades.
So knock on wood, you haven't caused a bad winter by asking where's winter before winter has even started.

Wrong. We had El Nino which usually means wetter and colder winter but El Nino fizzled out...

try connecting it to Sunspots. we are in the end of maxim. 1400's were still hotter. next year will be frigid

its december, so its a normal thing here..

we havent seen a drop of moisture in a long while.

iam in west texas and about a month ago we got a good freeze and it was cold for a couple days, since then it has been hot all day long. it may get just a lil cold at night. we have not had any rain or snow at all. what happened to the cold weather we are suppose to be getting. all the past years by halloween it would be cold and stay cold and a little wet. this time not a damn thing! whats going on??

Yeah, we've been discussing the crazy weather, but this thread has me feeling better. Guess its cold everywhere else.

I am sooo sick of the heat too, here in Amarillo. No sign of rain in sight, I also check the extended forecasts. Only good is power bills are low right now, no a/c needed, in the mid 70's and even though it cools down after the sun sets, no need for us to use heat. We desperately need rain.

yup im about an hour from lubbock and check the extended forecast often and there is no good weather just heat.

it's rather warm for November and December here in Ohio- we usually have snow by now..nothing but flurries a couple days.

Autumn/Fall is my favorite time of the year. From mid-September through mid-December we have warm to cool crisp sunny days and it's just great. Love it!

Basically there has be an increased amount of global seismic activity amd it seems to have broken through the barriers and is now running through the underground caverns and heating the temperatures of the region and planet. To sum up quickly ... The USA is floating on a river of molten earth, that's why after evacuating the louisiana area they added six times more explosives they anticipate the last barrier being breached (new Madrid fault) and the explosives are a last fail effort to smother theolten material. And just so you know the temp was over 30 degrees above average ... For the past week ...
