I was thankful to be away from my family. We went to my wives family this year. They are pretty normal.

Spend five days with your in-laws and you'll be a little angry too.

I cooked Baby-Back ribs, corn bread, Garlic Mashed Potatoes,and a Ceaser Salad. (Home made croutons)

Most people's Thanksgivings are like that, I do think

My family is loud and obnoxious, well my aunt/uncle mostly and their daughters. They literally scream at each other just having a conversation. I don't talk to most of them outside of my immediate family. I really can't relate to them much anymore. I end up always talking to my uncle though, especially once he starts drinking. He starts ranting about politics and conspiracy theories then. Half the stuff he says doesn't make sense, but he's still more awake than the rest of them.

Tasty sounding menu! We're all turkey-ed out and went to a barbeque joint this evening. Much as I like to cook,it was a welcome break from creating yet another Thanksgiving leftovers creative dining experience.

Thank god its over until X-mass!

My family sits on their asses and i do it all,im cooked out!
2 hams and 2 birds with pies/cakes/breads.

Homemade stuffing takes forever,i cooked for 3 days straight and my feet and back are still killing me.

Quit killing yourself for these holidays. No one is making you slave over everyone else. Get some easy stuff to make and put it on paper plates and relax with everyone else. If they don't like it then tell them to cook or bring in take out.
