Re: Christianity. This guy walking the talk. Living like Jesus. Should we do the same?
The Almighty has given everyone different lifestyles to live in order for us to seek Him. One can be rich and one can be poor. It all depends on what's the plan for that person. This person is happy in what he does. He's doing it for God. Good! He's sharing. Good! Everyone shares differently. As long as it's not for his 'glory', it's all good.

Nice story and thanks for sharing.

If we all just lived like this guy we could just be homeless and useless together...wouldn't the world be a better place if we all lived on the street?

I know this is what all Christians should be doing. As a female, I'm just too scared to do it.

No, no no...Sister, the point is full surrender to Him *whereever or whatever that may look like*!

If He wanted you on the streets...you'd *know* He wanted you on the streets!

What is on your heart for serving Him?

Then you are heading towards God...Jesus says "NO ONE can come to me unless the father draws him" its about relationship, and not about religious activities or duties.

Christianity is one of Rome's greatest deceptions.

Jesus might have been portrayed as a "good" deity, but many fictional movie characters have portrayed as "good" deities as well... should we all worship and emulate their behavior just because it 'seems like the right thing to do'?

Why don't we all start studying the great holy work of Bruce Almighty. All hail the worshipful Morgan Freeman.

I can understand where he's coming from.
And maybe it is what God wants him to do, too, for a time,
but I'll pray he gets off the streets and gets on with a life that will bring him more human happiness.

Beautiful testimony. Jesus was homeless Himself "for the Son of Man has no place to lay His head"...as the story goes. Shame Churches with all their wealth could not attract the homeless and rejected. I wish that was the story buts its not. They are attracted to genuine love and acceptance , shame its just the homeless that would except them and meet there needs. We all failed them the system failed them. There is more to them then poverty. Its not sacrifice that God wants its just your willingness to follow Him even if it means just a cup water in His name or just a dollar bill when you are so led to do it. If it is sacrifice then the problem lays with our own hearts.

No,

On the contrary. This man is collecting "pay" for his labor, but chooses to "give" it away.....to people in "need".

This is an extreme example of generosity, compassion, and love beyond most.

Grow up.

 Quoting: BRIEF

You haven't a clue the sacrifice it takes to live your life after Jesus Christ, and you and all of us can all learn from such a sacrifice.

It's not nearly as irresponsible as asking to nuke people or approve police violence. This whole planet is man's home and as for a pot to pee in well all the worldly treasures are useless at the gates of heaven. One day you will be shown the truth, regardless if you are searching for it or not.

It's nice that people are trying to help others, but to do it because "God told me" or "I want to go to heaven" or "I don't want to go to hell"

Those are not motivations to be admired, if you think about it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 9788321

It's not a oh, I'm going to get payback for what I did, it's more of a I really want to tell someone else what I know. Use it or not. God does love you.

Your condemnation seems unfair and dangerous...

I guess Jesus was irresponsible too...Right?

Yah we should just live for ourselves, buy big cars, and fancy churches...

Build bigger barns...Wait...Jesus said IF we do that we are fools...
