Smoking 'rots' brain
I've never heard of this before. I thought nicotine helped some folks think better.

You know what else rots the brain? Watching people smoke. Don't you have anything else better to do.

Re: Smoking 'rots' brain
I'm not a smoker but do like to do research and never saw this data before. All the info regarding the hazards of smoking is out there for heart disease and lung cancer - but rotting the brain is a new one.

Re: Smoking 'rots' brain
Nicotine is a neurotoxin and smoking deprives oxygen to the brain. Then again, just living in a major metropolitan area with all the air pollution is comparable if not worse than smoking in this regard.

Data about the health and lifestyle of a group of over-50s was collected and brain tests, such as making participants learn new words or name as many animals as they could in a minute, were also performed.

What a fucking fail study half of them probably have early onset alcohol dementia lmao
