The "moon" is a space station.
The greys use it as a base. Its no coincidence that it can
eclipse the sun.
Park it in a geostationary orbit for about a month between the sun and earth, all sunlight would be blocked, everything would be deal in a month.
I wittnessed a total eclipse once, expected the dark, did
not expect how cold in got in just a few moments.
The powers that be know this, but they never had the power to blow the moon up, besides which you would have asteroids
raining down for eons.
